54 Days Left.

Last time I went here we are at 62 and now were down to 54.

What?!?!

I just went back from a whole day of sick leave to refresh my thoughts from the past weeks which I admit were physically and emotionally draining.

There were also other unexpected circumstances which arised, and it dragged my energy
down to its lowest. Sometimes I wish I was wonderwoman so I can replenish my powers as soon as I wanted to.

Special Agreement with Photo and Video Teams

We never wanted to end a special event without having a memorabilia from it. Of course
there will be photos from friends, from loved ones, but of course an official photo and video coverage is indeed necessary. Since we already have suppliers to do this for your church wedding, we just agreed to have our civil wedding covered by them as well, in lieu of the prenup photography shoot, which we can forego as we already have a lot of photos to use and we don’t see the necessity of a prenup at all. This way, we are also able to see the quality of their work before the bigger day. Perhaps things really happen for a reason.

Our photography coverage will be done by our good friend, Robert Regala from Vigan,
and Videography will be provided by KAGO Photography and Films. We are lucky to have these talents provide our photo and video needs for one special day, at a rate that is more than of a friendly one. I guess we are very lucky with all of our suppliers.

Our Photos were undeniably good and Kuya Robert was able to capture most of the important moments that has to be immortalized. Special props to his initiative to take more photos before our videographer arrives. The videographer arrived more than 45 minutes later than the call time because of the traffic and challenges that they encountered on getting to the venue. Leaving our photographer do all the work from the start. Nevertheless, they were still able to capture what they had to capture so we still paid them enough for getting the job done.

The video was initially edited and made by the videographer but since I am not personally satisfied with the outcome, I had to revise it myself and make my own version.

However, we were able to confirm with each other that we will never want a possibility of this mishap on the church wedding, that is why we had to terminate the contract between both suppliers and push through with a different Photo and Video Team for the church wedding. Moving forward, the team handling the captured moments will be the team of John Fojas Photography and Films.

Of course a photo and a video coverage will not be perfectly executed without a good lighting, which opted us to get a lights setup provider, together with a sound system which will help us complete the solemn feel of the intimate wedding we are having. Thanks to Jade Aman of Samahan ng Musikerong Pilipino for providing us the best rates and services which did not break our budget commitment.

Their equipment that they have are that of high quality ones that the sound is very clear and there were no technical issues that were encountered during the event. As there is no perfect wedding, there were also mishaps on the execution of plans in terms of the song selections and the queuing of planned musical backgrounds as well as the dynamics of volume and attentiveness of the staff, but overall the vendor did their job to provide us with good equipment, light and sounds system which contributed to the success of the event.

Facebook Live!

For this event, we have a very limited guest count that we were not able to accommodate most of our loved ones because of course, family first. 🙂

However, technology is now in our hands and we took advantage of it by book a live streaming services from Livestreaming.ph as Naino Gadingan being our contact person for the event. This way, we were able to document as well the event from start until finish. We broadcasted the event live on video streaming via Facebook Live, using our Facebook Page.

Peso Power: PHP 5000.00 + PHP 500 transportation fee

The original rate was at PHP 8000-PHP 10000 for 4 hours. But the business owners were very kind to us that they gave the deal to us at a very discounted rate, because there will be no venue transfers and it will only cover a small area. The deal covered the entire event from start to finish with a very crisp video coverage and clear sounds. Good thing we have this because we were able to watch ourselves after the event, haha! Were planning to get excerpts from this and play them during the reception of our church wedding.

Feel free to watch the delayed broadcast of our civil wedding at the Facebook Page.
